In Dhading, Road Safety Forum - Nepal spearheads the Safe School Zone program, a holistic initiative aimed at enhancing the safety of school environments for students, staff, and pedestrians. Through this program, we collaborate closely with local schools, communities, and government authorities to assess and address safety concerns in and around school premises. Our efforts include conducting safety audits to identify hazards, implementing measures such as speed bumps and pedestrian crossings, and raising awareness about safe behavior among students and motorists.

Additionally, the Safe School Zone program incorporates educational components focused on equipping students with essential road safety knowledge and skills. We organize interactive workshops, assemblies, and awareness campaigns to instill safe pedestrian practices, traffic rules awareness, and the importance of wearing safety gear like helmets and reflective clothing. By working proactively to create safer environments for students to travel to and from school, Road Safety Nepal aims to reduce accidents, promote active transportation, and cultivate a culture of safety consciousness in Dhading's school communities.
