In Kathmandu, Road Safety Forum - Nepal spearheads a comprehensive Pedestrian Safety Awareness program aimed at reducing accidents involving pedestrians. Through this initiative, we conduct interactive workshops, community outreach events, and public awareness campaigns to educate pedestrians about the importance of road safety measures. We emphasize the significance of using designated crosswalks, obeying traffic signals, and being vigilant while navigating busy streets. Additionally, we provide practical tips on how to assess risks and safely cross roads, especially in areas with heavy traffic.

Furthermore, our program collaborates with local authorities and urban planners to advocate for pedestrian-friendly infrastructure enhancements, such as improved sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, and signage. We engage with schools, businesses, and community organizations to foster a culture of pedestrian safety consciousness. By raising awareness and advocating for systemic improvements, Road Safety Nepal aims to create safer environments for pedestrians in Kathmandu, ultimately reducing accidents and promoting the well-being of all road users.
